Job Description

  • Supporting the Legal Team and Business: Provide comprehensive support on HR matters, cross-border procurement activities, and online gaming compliance research. Assist with structuring transactions, assessing legal risks, and minimizing potential disputes..
  • Contract Management and Legal Expertise: Handle standard legal matters, including negotiation, drafting, and review of contracts and agreements. Conduct research on local laws and regulations relevant to business operations. Manage relationships with external legal counsel when necessary.
  • Ensuring Smooth Operations: Perform general corporate and legal housekeeping tasks.
  • Global Collaboration: Support the Global Legal Counsel in managing game-related compliance issues and other international projects.
  • Staying Ahead of the Curve: Proactively monitor changes and developments in global legal and regulatory landscapes related to game development, publishing, and distribution.

The Successful Applicant

  • Bachelor degree from a recognized law school in Singapore or another common law country, with admittance to the Singapore Bar Association.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in the gaming or tech industry, ideally within a multinational corporation or international law firm (experience in both is a plus).
  • Familiarity with employment law and cross-border commercial transactions is a strong asset.
  • Proven background in contract law, including drafting and negotiation skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
  • Strong skills in conveying complex legal information in an understandable manner.
  • A strong passion for the gaming industry is a plus.
