The organisation builds and operates advanced, sustainable, and highly connected facilities that support cloud, enterprise and technology clients across Asia. With operations in multiple regional markets, the business is rapidly scaling and requires strong in‑house legal support to enable its growth.

Job Description

  • Oversee corporate governance and entity‑management requirements for Singapore operations, including maintenance of statutory records and preparation of board‑related documents.
  • Support regional M&A, joint ventures, and investment initiatives, including due diligence and coordination with external advisors.
  • Draft, review, and negotiate a wide range of commercial agreements (e.g., NDAs, service contracts, procurement/vendor agreements, and employment‑related documents).
  • Provide guidance on regulatory and compliance matters relevant to commercial operations, project development, real estate‑related documentation, and sector‑specific regulations when needed.
  • Partner with cross‑functional teams (e.g., Projects, Operations, HR, Finance, Commercial) to identify legal risks and deliver pragmatic solutions.
  • Assist in regional legal work across Asia, including liaison with external counsel.
  • Track and interpret regulatory developments in Singapore (e.g., data protection, employment, construction‑related requirements).
  • Develop and refine internal legal templates, policies, and playbooks to improve operational efficiency.

The Successful Applicant

A successful Legal Counsel should have:

  • Law degree from a recognised university, admission to the Singapore Bar is preferred
  • Minimum 4 years of experience in corporate/commercial practice, gained in law firms or in‑house environments.
  • Familiarity with construction, real‑estate, or technology‑infrastructure‑related matters is advantageous.
  • Ability to independently manage complex matters and offer commercially sound advice.
  • Strong drafting, communication, and stakeholder‑management capabilities.
  • High attention to detail, analytical thinking, and comfort working in a fast‑moving environment.
  • Team‑oriented mindset with the ability to collaborate across different business units.
