Job Description
As a Lead Software Developer you will be responsible for :
- Lead and coach a team of developers and technical teammates in iteratively delivering business value across both back-end and front-end services
- Be involved in project planning. Understand business requirements and translate them into technical requirements
- Establish best practices for developing processes, technologies, coding practices, and architectures
- Grow a DevOps culture and maintain an Agile product development mindset in the technical team
- Write and maintain unit tests, end-to-end tests, and integration/contract tests
- Build, maintain, and upgrade CI/CD pipelines
- Maintain software infrastructure and ensure optimal availability of products/services
The Successful Applicant
As a successful candidate, you will have a bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent with at least 6 years of backend programming development and at least 3 years in Software Architecture design.Solid development experience in the below stack:
- Python (Django framework, Celery task runner)
- JavaScript/TypeScript (React.js)
- PostgreSQL
- Terraform (Digital Ocean, AWS)
- Logging (ELK stack)
- Observability (Prometheus/Grafana)
Experienced in using an Agile methodology / operate with a DevOps culture
Strong analytical mindset, attention to details, and critical thinking; entrepreneurial and solution-oriented
