About Our Client
Our client is changing the game in fiber-based network solutions and have built a world class solution to ensure low latency and high network availability. They are a digital-first platform and 2021 is all about international expansion: organic and inorganic. As part of their expansion plans in Asia and Middle East, Africa they are looking to hire a few key roles including a Key Account Director role with a regional portfolio.
Job Description
Reporting to the VP, Global Sales (based in the US), the success of the Key Account Director, APAC & MEA will be measured on the following criteria:
- Drive the firm's sales mission to deliver programs, achieve business plan and revenue goals
- Identify Partners and solutions that address partner needs and lead efforts to sell such solutions
- Lead generation and creation of new business opportunities
- Build a comprehensive profile of client organization decision makers and seek to get visibility and audience "up" and "across" the client organization
- Lead sales and sales development activities in region for all existing and prospective customer accounts - Farming and Hunting
- Be the key point of contact for large accounts in Asia Pacific, Middle east, Europe and Africa
- Drive Sales Performance through an efficient CRM management system while working closely with the leadership team
The Successful Applicant
The successful Key Account Director, APAC & MEA will need to meet the following criteria:
- Bachelors' Degree from a reputable university
- Expertise in account APAC or a global role, ideally selling infrastructure as a solution
- 10 years or more in a sales role in B2B Enterprise Technology
- Strong rolodex of contacts at senior level within identified verticals like OTTs, Gaming cos, Video and Content players, CDN, large global carriers and Telco's
- Ideally, experience of having handled deals in the field of network, cloud connectivity - land and sub-sea networks
