Job Description

  • Manage end-to-end delivery of IT projects supporting fleet management, port systems, and logistics
  • Lead implementation and enhancement of systems such as:
  • Fleet Management Systems
  • Transportation Management Systems (TMS)
  • ERP (Finance, Procurement, Maintenance)
  • Port Community Systems / EDI integrations
  • Work closely with Operations, Chartering, Fleet, Finance, and Compliance teams to translate business requirements into technical solutions
  • Plan and manage project scope, timelines, budgets, risks, and resource allocation
  • Coordinate internal IT teams, external system integrators, and maritime technology vendors
  • Ensure compliance with maritime regulations, data security standards, and audit requirements (e.g. IMO guidelines, VGM reporting, cybersecurity best practices)
  • Oversee system integration with ports, agents, terminals, customers, and partners
  • Manage UAT, cutover planning, change management, and post‑implementation support
  • Provide regular project updates and risk reports to senior management
  • Drive continuous improvement and digitalisation initiatives across shipping operations



The Successful Applicant

  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent
  • Minimum 8 years of IT project management experience, ideally within shipping, logistics, transportation, or port operations
  • Proven track record delivering enterprise or operational technology projects
  • Strong experience managing vendors and complex system integrations
  • Solid understanding of SDLC, Agile, Waterfall, or hybrid delivery models
  • Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills
