They take an institutional approach to manager selection, portfolio construction and operations, partnering with leading investment managers across all asset classes.Job DescriptionInvestment Operations & ReportingOversee performance monitoring, reporting and forecasting across the entire portfolio of public and private investmentsLead the maintenance of investment data in Addepar, including asset setup, transactions, valuations, performance reporting and risk analyses that support investment decision-makingReconcile data across internal systems and records (Addepar, Sage, Excel) and third-party sources, resolving discrepancies in a timely and well-documented mannerLead the enhancement of investment operations workflows, controls, and documentation to improve accuracy, timeliness and reporting efficiencyProduce real-time dashboards, quarterly and annual reports for senior leadership, the investment and finance teams that adhere to best practices in investment reportingCash & Liquidity ManagementOversee accurate cash & liquidity reporting for the investment portfolio and proactively identify and communicate any shortfalls across multiple entities and custodiansLead short-term and medium-term liquidity forecasting for senior managementMaintain daily cash position reports + dashboards across multiple entities and custodiansInvestment ExecutionFacilitate the execution of investment activity, including trade settlements, capital calls, distributions, asset allocation adjustments and subscription documentation in collaboration with the investment teamCoordinate with external investment managers and service providers (custodians, auditors, legal counsel etc.) and internal finance team to ensure timely and accurate processing of transactionsMaintain accuracy and integrity of investment data across internal records and portfolio management systems (Addepar)The Successful ApplicantBachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Mathematics, Business, Accounting, or a related field; progress toward relevant advanced degrees or certifications (e.g. MBA, CFA, CAIA) a plus10+ years of experience in investment operations, fund administration, family office, asset management (hedge funds or private equity preferred), or private banking operationsDemonstrated experience collaborating with external investment managers and service providers (e.g. custodians, banks, trustees, consultants, auditors)Deep knowledge of private equity, fixed income, public equity and alternative investmentsExpert understanding of investment operations, fund structures, and capital flowsExperience with data management and investment tools such as Addepar, Canoe or similar platforms and ERP systems (Sage, Oracle, SAP or similar)Advanced Excel proficiency; proficient in Microsoft Office (PowerPoint, Word, Teams)What's on OfferCompetitive salary with bonus schemeNewly created role with the opportunity to set up back office functionStable and conducive environment with good cultureThis is an excellent opportunity to take your career in investment operations to the next level.
