The role will involve performing in-depth financial analysis, evaluating investment opportunities, and engaging directly with C-suite level corporates and senior leadership teams across Asia.

Our client is a hedge fund with a strong focus on Equity Capital Markets across Asia. They are seeking a high-calibre Investment Analyst to join their Singapore platform.

Job Description

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct comprehensive market research and financial analysis to assess potential investment opportunities.
  • Participate in global industry conferences and corporate meetings with C-suite executives to evaluate investment prospects and cultivate strategic relationships.
  • Support financial modelling, due diligence processes, and risk evaluation across prospective and existing investments.
  • Assist in the execution of trading and hedging strategies where applicable.
  • Monitor portfolio performance, industry developments, and macroeconomic trends to inform investment decisions.
  • Prepare detailed investment reports, presentation materials, and internal memoranda for investment committee discussions and external corporate engagements.



The Successful Applicant

A successful Investment Analyst should have:

  • Bachelor's degree with outstanding academic performance
  • Strong financial modelling and valuation capabilities, particularly in public equities.
  • Solid understanding of equity capital markets, IPO processes, and transaction mechanics.
  • Proficiency in Excel, Bloomberg, and market data analysis.
  • Strong commercial judgement, high intellectual curiosity, and ability to operate in fast-paced, live deal environments.
  • Professional presence and strong communication skills when interacting with corporates and counterparties.
  • Willingness to travel as required for roadshows and corporate meetings.
