About Our Client

Our client is a leading tech company with operation around the globe. With aggressive expansion plan they are now looking for a Tax Manager in Singapore to join their international team.

Job Description

This International Tax Manager would be:

Reporting to Head of International Tax, covering portfolio countries globally.
Coordinate with internal and external resources to ensure accurate and timely tax reporting for each legal entity.
Review direct (corporate income tax) and indirect taxes (VAT, GST, consumption tax, etc.)
Oversee tax compliance activities, including collaboration with the local finance on the preparation of tax return, filing and payment.
Manage local tax audit and dispute resolution proceedings.
Obtain and manage grant incentive programs and optimise the claims.
Partner with the business and identify tax planning opportunities in countries where the company has footprint.
Ensure compliance with corporate income tax withholding rules on cross-border payments
Assist with transfer pricing matters and provide guidance on inter-company transactions
Be a trusted business partner for business operations internationally, providing guidance as needed for new business initiatives, proposed transactions and process enhancement projects

The Successful Applicant

Successful candidate would have:

Bachelor degree or above in Finance, Accounting or related disciplines, with CA, ACCA or CPA professional qualifications.
Minimum 8 years of relevant corporate tax experience in Big 4 or large MNCs.
Familiar with cross border transactions, double tax treaties, corporate restructuring and corporate compliance regulations internationally.
Excellent communication, business partnering and project management skills.
Team player with ability to work as individual contributor as well as with people across functions, culture and from all levels within the organisations.
