Save JobEmail Job Back to Search Job Description Summary Similar JobsExciting Newly Created RoleInternational Coverage (HK/SG-based)About Our ClientOur client is an internationally renowned art and culture non-profit organisation in Hong Kong with mission to promote spiritual well-being.In view of the ongoing needs for new project development, the organisation is keen on hiring a seasoned fundraiser to help achieve the ultimate goal of creating a long-lasting impact and building a sustainable art & culture ecosystem in Hong Kong.Job DescriptionReporting directly to the CEO while working closely with the Board members, you will be responsible for leading the comprehensive major gift programs for international markets - with major focus on US, European and/or South East Asia market.Being part of the the leadership team, you will be given the core mandate to raise funds for the upcoming special projects and new initiatives beyond the day-to-day operation that is all up-and-running in good shape.You are expected to leverage on your existing network and the organisation's strong reputation to cultivate and solicit a portfolio of overseas gift prospects - ranging from high net-worth individuals, foundations and corporate donors while you are also expected the set the tone on fund-raising objectives, evaluating the results and constantly updating donors on the progress and the program/project developments - with the support of other departments.The Successful ApplicantTo qualify, you should be an experienced fund-raising/development professional with proven track record in raising funds in form of major gifts (with deal size of USD1 mil+) in social impact space (non-profit, education or other social enterprises with fund-raising needs) - ideally in the domain of art and culture.Overseas work experience and network (corporate, high net-worth individuals, foundations and other players within the philanthropy community) beyond Hong Kong will be required while you should be the individual who are comfortable working independently to drive results.Familiarity with the global fund-raising principles, practice and trends will be important.
