Job Description

  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with institutional clients in the Japanese market, including asset managers, pension funds, insurance companies, and other financial institutions.
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities, leveraging existing relationships and networking to expand the firm's client base.
  • Serve as a trusted advisor to clients, understanding their investment objectives and offering tailored solutions to meet their needs.
  • Actively promote the firm's products and services, including derivative products, equity and fixed income, while providing market insights and investment ideas.
  • Collaborate with internal teams, including research, trading, and investment banking, to deliver comprehensive solutions and support client needs.
  • Stay informed about market trends, regulatory developments, and competitor activities, providing feedback to management and contributing to strategic initiatives.

The Successful Applicant

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business Administration, or related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in Institutional Sales within the financial services industry, with a proven track record of success in the Japanese market.
  • Strong network of relationships with Japanese institutional clients, demonstrating the ability to generate revenue and drive business growth.
  • Hunter mentality with a proactive approach to sales, demonstrating resilience, tenacity, and a results-driven mindset.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to articulate complex ideas and influence key stakeholders.
  • Strong negotiation and relationship-building skills, with a focus on delivering exceptional client service.
