Job Description

  • Strategic Sourcing: Identify and evaluate suppliers for non-production goods and services, negotiating contracts and agreements to secure favourable terms while maintaining the highest standards of quality and luxury.
  • Supplier Relationship Management: Cultivate and maintain relationships with suppliers, fostering collaboration and ensuring adherence to contractual obligations, delivery schedules, and quality standards.
  • Cost Management: Develop and implement cost-saving strategies and initiatives without compromising quality or brand integrity, optimising procurement processes and expenditures to achieve financial objectives.
  • Risk Management: Assess and mitigate risks associated with supplier relationships, market fluctuations, and supply chain disruptions, proactively identifying potential issues and implementing contingency plans as needed.
  • Compliance and Ethics: Ensure procurement activities adhere to company policies, legal requirements, and ethical standards, promoting transparency, fairness, and sustainability throughout the supply chain.
  • Commitment to Sustainability: Ensure sustainability is included in all procurement activities and conduct audits to assess supplier's adherence to corporate social responsibility standards.

The Successful Applicant

  • Minimally 5 years of demonstrated proficiency in procurement, with a comprehensive grasp of managing indirect procurement categories
  • Familiarity of luxury retail is advantageous
  • Exceptional communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management abilities are essential
  • Independent self-starter who is collaborative, positive, and an effective team player
