Job Description

  • Provide strategic direction and guidance to the firm's management team.
  • Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of the organisation's governance practices.
  • Ensure compliance with legal and regulatory requirements.
  • Engage in constructive dialogue with stakeholders, including investors and regulators.
  • Review and approve budgets, audit reports, and major corporate decisions.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of corporate strategies.
  • Contribute to board meetings and ensure effective communication among board members.
  • Act as an ambassador for the company's values and principles.

The Successful Applicant

A successful Independent Board Director should have:

  • An advanced degree in Finance, Business Administration or a related field.
  • Demonstrable experience in a senior leadership role within the Healthcare industry.
  • Comprehensive understanding of corporate governance principles and financial regulations.
  • Strong strategic thinking and decision-making abilities.
