This is an exciting opportunity for an HR Manager to contribute to the growth and effectiveness of the Human Resources department in the transport & distribution industry. Based in Singapore, this role requires a proactive individual to support key HR functions and initiatives.

Job Description

  • Support the implementation and management of HR policies and procedures within the organisation.
  • Provide guidance on employee relations and ensure compliance with employment legislation.
  • Assist in recruitment processes, including screening and onboarding of new employees.
  • Handle employee queries and provide advice on HR-related matters.
  • Coordinate training and development programmes to enhance employee skills.
  • Support performance management initiatives and appraisals.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to deliver HR projects effectively.

The Successful Applicant

  • Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources or related majors.
  • At least 10 years of progressive HR experience, preferably in matrixed MNC environment.
  • Strong knowledge of employment laws and HR best practices in Singapore.
  • Experience working in an unionised environment.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact with all levels of the organisation.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritise effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • A proactive approach to problem-solving and decision-making.
