Our client is an international philanthropic organisation operating across multiple Asian markets, partnering with research groups, civil society groups, advisory bodies, and regional experts to strengthen policy ecosystems and support long-term societal impact.As the organisation continues to mature, we are hiring an HR Generalist to support core HR operations and strengthen the foundations of our People & Culture function.

Job Description

Key ResponsibilitiesPeople Operations & HR Foundations (Current Scope)

  • Maintain accurate personnel data across multiple platforms.
  • Partner with payroll vendors, ensuring accuracy and supporting future transition of processes.
  • Ensure compliance in documentation, contracts, and people processes across multiple geographies.
  • Support the annual salary review cycle, data preparation, and analysis.



Recruitment & Talent Support

  • Partner with hiring managers to coordinate interviews, manage documentation, and support recruitment.
  • Participate in interviews and ensure a positive candidate experience.
  • Help shape interview packs, screening processes, and documentation flow.



People Programmes & Continuous Improvement

  • Support L&D initiatives, engagement activities, and organisation‑wide people programs.
  • Track KPIs, recruitment metrics, and HR dashboards; contribute insights.
  • Identify areas for process improvement and help strengthen HR systems and governance.



Future HRBP Exposure (Growth Scope)As the team grows, you may progressively:

  • Support managers in people matters and employee relations
  • Contribute to workforce planning discussions
  • Assist in policy development and organisational design
  • Act as a liaison between country leads and central HR
  • Build country-level HR understanding across APAC
