Job Description

  • Coordinate and organize due diligence materials for prospective investments and litigation matters, ensuring timely upload into the document management platform.
  • Conduct legal research, including retrieving court filings, case dockets, and relevant articles for attorney review.
  • Maintain comprehensive and accurate case data in Salesforce, including docket tracking, deadlines, contacts, and background details.
  • Manage execution, distribution, and secure archiving of legal agreements and closing documents using electronic signature tools.
  • Input financial and ownership details into Salesforce at deal execution and assist with follow-on funding requests, billing, and collections.
  • Prepare and circulate pipeline and portfolio reports for weekly meetings, follow up on missing data, and support agenda preparation.
  • Participate in team initiatives to enhance global underwriting processes and efficiency.
  • Document workflows and maintain user guides for internal systems.

The Successful Applicant

A successful Paralegal should have:

  • Paralegal certification or equivalent academic background with relevant experience.
  • Minimum 3 years in litigation or banking specialisation, with hands-on experience in docket management and case file organization.
  • Familiar with the US legal system and regulations.
  • Familiarity with legal research platforms (e.g., Lexis, Bloomberg Law) and document management systems.
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office; advanced Excel skills are advantageous.
  • Prior experience with Salesforce and document management tools preferred.
  • Detail-oriented with excellent organizational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills; proactive and adaptable in a fast-paced setting.
  • Collaborative team player with the ability to work independently and maintain high standards of accuracy.
