Job Description

Reporting to the CEO, the Head of Risk will be involved in:-

  • Managing the entire risk function which includes implementation of risk management policies and practices for credit, market, liquidity, operational and fraud risk.
  • Ensuring compliance with local regulatory guidelines, Bank's credit policies & procedures, risk appetite as well as best industry practices while approving credit.
  • Overseeing preparation of MIS for timely reporting of the market risk profile to management and regulator.
  • Measuring risk both qualitatively and quantitatively to facilitate risk identification and management.



The Successful Applicant

To qualify the potential Head of Risk should meet the following criteria:-

  • A recognised degree from a reputable university.
  • Minimum 10 years of risk management experience within banking.
  • Strong knowledge of industries and economic environment in the region.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
