About Our Client

Our client is an established community and social club here in Singapore with more than 50 years of history, with a vision to grow their brand further, they are currently looking to hire a Head of Recreation to help oversee and manage the entire operations of the departments.

This is a replacement perm role to be based in Singapore.

Job Description

You will be reporting directly to the General Manager. Your main job responsibilities include:

  • Managing the budget as well as ensuring the operations of the departments are run smoothly
  • To create and evaluate programs and activities for the members to ensure success of strategic outcomes
  • To provide support and strategic direction to the team members as well providing coaching and mentoring to them to ensure career progression of the team
  • To organise Sports and Recreation Committee and Sub-Committee meetings every month/quarter

The Successful Applicant

In order to be successful in the role, you should have:

  • At least a Bachelor's Degree in Business or Sports Management or any related field
  • At least 10 years of working experience within the hospitality/social club industry
  • Strong passion for sports or recreational activities
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
