Job Description

  • Oversee the daily operations of the Pathology department, ensuring compliance with healthcare regulations
  • Develop and implement operational strategies to optimise laboratory workflows and resource allocation
  • Collaborate with clinical teams to ensure seamless integration of pathology services
  • Monitor and manage departmental budgets, ensuring cost-effectiveness without compromising service quality
  • Lead and mentor a team of professionals, fostering a culture of continuous improvement
  • Ensure the department meets key performance indicators and quality standards
  • Drive initiatives to enhance patient care through innovative pathology solutions
  • Prepare and present operational reports to senior management and stakeholders

The Successful Applicant

  • A degree in a relevant Life Sciences or healthcare-related field
  • Proven experience in managing operations within the healthcare industry
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire and guide a team
