With operations in more than thirty countries and a significant retail presence across several key brands, they have delivered consecutive record years in revenue and profitability. They have also built and acquired major QSR brands and with this expansion, are looking to widen their market dominance. The Head of Network Development, APMEA will drive the expansion and optimization of our client's network to ensure sustained growth.

Job Description

Our client is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Head of Network Development to lead their network expansion and optimization efforts. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of the QSR industry, strong analytical and strategic planning skills, and a proven track record of successfully managing network development projects.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Strategic Network Planning: Develop and implement a comprehensive network development strategy to support company growth objectives. Identify and evaluate new market opportunities for expansion and prioritize potential locations based on market research and analysis.
  • Site Selection and Acquisition: Lead the site selection process, including evaluating potential locations, negotiating leases or purchases, and securing necessary approvals. Construction and design report into this role too.
  • Franchise Development: Work closely with franchise partners to identify and develop new franchise opportunities in target markets. Provide guidance and support to franchisees on site selection, development standards, and network optimization strategies.
  • Network Optimization: Analyze existing store performance and market trends to identify opportunities for network optimization and improvement.
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Build and maintain strong relationships with internal stakeholders, franchise partners, landlords, and other external partners to support network development efforts.
  • Budget Management: Develop and manage the network development budget, ensuring optimal allocation of resources and adherence to financial targets. Monitor and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) to track progress and measure the success of network development initiatives.

The Successful Applicant

  • Bachelor's degree in business administration, Real Estate, or related field.
  • Minimum of ten years of experience in network development, real estate, preferably within the QSR or retail industry.
  • Strong analytical, strategic planning, and project management skills.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and lead cross-functional teams.
  • Extensive travel needed in this role, across Asia, Europe, and Middle East regions.
