Job Description

  • Contribute as part of the management team in shaping strategies and plans as well as effective engagement with stakeholders
  • Formulate the strategic direction of the businesses media channels and ensure its effective implementation in alignment with the mission and vision of the business.
  • Seek out ways to collaborate with other teams with aligned outcomes.
  • Constantly review, refine and innovate strategies and tactics to grow amidst the dynamic and competitive digital landscape.
  • Ensure annual plans are executed by optimising resources and delivering desired outcomes in timely manner. (in alignment with long term plans)
  • As key spokesperson for the business, advocate the the brand/story with international/local media and at conferences/events with international/local audiences
  • Manage a large team

  • Ideally with editorial supervision and international experience
  • Intuitive and empirical knowledge in maintaining editorial standards and brand consistency
  • Highly motivated and resourceful in taking a solutions-focused approach to challenges
