About Our Client

A leading organisation in the industrial solutions space is seeking a seasoned Head of Manufacturing Operations to lead all aspects of manufacturing, warehousing, logistics and quality management. Working closely with senior leadership and cross‑functional teams, this role is responsible for elevating operational performance, strengthening automation and digital capabilities, and driving best‑in‑class execution across the value chain.

Job Description

  • Lead end‑to‑end manufacturing operations to ensure efficient production, timely delivery and effective utilisation of resources.
  • Drive lean manufacturing initiatives, embed continuous improvement frameworks and deliver measurable gains in productivity, waste reduction and operational KPIs.
  • Oversee automated warehousing and inventory systems, ensuring real‑time visibility, seamless production integration and high‑accuracy fulfilment.
  • Strengthen logistics and distribution functions, enhance shipping performance and cultivate strong partnerships with suppliers, carriers and third‑party logistics providers.
  • Lead quality assurance and compliance efforts, ensuring full adherence to safety, regulatory and environmental requirements while reducing defects and enhancing customer satisfaction.
  • Oversee equipment maintenance strategies, implementing comprehensive preventive and predictive maintenance programmes to maximise machine uptime and operational continuity.
  • Mentor and develop a multi‑disciplinary leadership team, build strong talent pipelines and foster a culture of ownership, capability building and operational excellence.

The Successful Applicant

  • At least 15 years of experience in industrial manufacturing operations or electronics/ semiconductor manufacturing, including a minimum of 3 years in a senior leadership role managing large‑scale production and automated warehousing environments.
  • Strong command of lean manufacturing, Six Sigma and continuous improvement methodologies.
  • Proven track record in driving automation, enhancing operational efficiency and delivering cost improvements across complex manufacturing setups.
  • Exceptional leadership, communication and change‑management skills, with experience leading managers and sizable operational teams.
  • Strong analytical and problem‑solving capabilities with the ability to use data to make informed decisions and deliver tangible results.
