Job Description

  • Provide expert guidance to business units and leadership to meet HSSEQ objectives and regulatory compliance.
  • Design and implement processes aligned to ISO standards and best practices in offshore production.
  • Ensure risks are systematically assessed, managed, and tracked. Lead risk registers, audits, and assessments.
  • Deliver accurate, timely HSSEQ reporting (weekly/monthly/quarterly/annual) to drive data-informed decisions.
  • Lead investigations with structured methodologies (e.g. ICAM, TapRoot) to address root causes.
  • Define and enforce contractor HSE performance standards and continuous evaluation protocols.
  • Build competency within HSSEQ teams and across departments through structured training and development programs.
  • Embed best practices, benchmarking, and lean methodologies to elevate performance across all fronts.

The Successful Applicant

  • Proven experience in HSE leadership roles within offshore, marine, or oil & gas environments.
  • Strong working knowledge of ISO 9001, 14001, 45001 and integrated management systems.
  • Certified WSH Officer and/or NEBOSH Diploma / Chartered IOSH or equivalent international qualifications.
  • Root Cause Analysis certification (e.g., ICAM, Taproot, Kelvin TOP-SET).
  • Lead Auditor certification in ISO frameworks preferred.
  • Excellent communication, stakeholder engagement, and change leadership skills.
  • Strategic thinker with the ability to translate safety goals into operational results.
