About Our Client

Our client is a high growth MNC in the (data) fintech space. As they grow their global teams, APAC is becoming increasingly significant across their worldwide operations and they are keen to implement best practices in HR. Owing to this new focus, they are looking to hire a Head of HR, APAC for their Singapore office. This is a permanent headcount and reports to the Global Head of HR.

Job Description

The successful applicant will:

  • Be a business partner to the APAC functional heads across sales, operations, finance, etc in each of the countries of the region.
  • Drive key topics like compensation and benefits, and HR operations.
  • Own the employee experience for the region.
  • Be a subject matter expert on HR Operations, employee relations and an HR generalist.
  • Put best practices in place and make recommendations on C&B to functional department heads.

The Successful Applicant

As a successful applicant, you will have:

  • Ten or more years in a HR management, generalist role with a strong knowledge of the financial services or software industries.
  • Five years or more in a firm with a lean setup and matrix reporting
  • Five or more years in a team management role with teams spread out in APAC
  • Highly effective in business partnering, with a strong track record of driving operations.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills as you will be required to present and influence business leaders in the region and globally.
  • Excellent collaboration and team-working skills.
  • Able to influence, gains the support of stakeholders to get things done.
  • Degree with either an HR or business component or a post graduate qualification in HR or business.
