This is a Head of Finance position for a service provider, where you will assume a dual role of the Finance Operations and Shared Service function. The position will lead financial strategy and governance for a shared services team, optimising resources and driving efficiencies to ensure operational excellence.

Job Description

Reporting the the CEO, you will:

  • Be responsible for overall operations of the Accounting & Finance department, including General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Fixed Asset, Intercompany, Payroll etc
  • Spearhead finance transformation via SAP ERP, synergising capabilities through centralisation of services
  • Lead a high performing Finance SSC team of over 300 headcounts, establish talent development plans and retention strategies
  • Ensure corporate governance, implement finance policies and internal controls to meet corporate and regulatory requirements
  • Oversee annual financial planning, budget and forecasting exercise
  • Strong business partner to Finance leadership of various entities, present financial data to senior management

The Successful Applicant

  • Degree in Accounting and Finance, professional accounting qualifications, such as CA, CPA, ACCA etc.
  • Over 15 years of working experience, proven track record leading large Finance SSC teams
  • Proficient in SAP ERP, successfully led system improvements, automation, strong project management skills
  • Resilient in nature, thrives in high volume environment, finding rhythm in complex structures
  • Adept at navigating matrix organisation, execute a solution-focused approach
