You will be responsible for optimising production efficiency, ensuring product quality and leading the implementation of engineering best practices.Job DescriptionOversee all engineering aspects within a pharmaceutical manufacturing facility. This role involves managing equipment qualifications, maintenance, project management and process validation to ensure the plant meets its production goals and regulatory standardsImplement and drive engineering solutions to streamline manufacturing processes, focus on process stability and continuous improvementOversee capital projects from concept to completion, manage changes to project scope, schedules and costs and ensure adherence to timelines, budget and quality specificationsCollaborate with senior management and cross-functional teams in formulating robust engineering practicesResponsible for CAPEX and maintenance budgetLead and develop the engineering team, fostering a culture of high performance and continuous improvement and ensure effective allocation of resourcesEnsure all facilities and utilities comply with regulatory standards including EHS initiativesOther relevant engineering responsibilities and projects as determined by managementThe Successful ApplicantBachelor's or Master degree in engineering or related disciplineExperience in maintenance, engineering and project management activities within the pharmaceutical industry, preferably from an oral solid dosage formulation plantEquipped with strong people management experience and understanding of local regulatory requirements within the pharmaceutical manufacturing industryExperience in greenfield/ brownfield project, including handling large-scale engineering projects will be advantageousStrong knowledge of GMP, EHS, and pharmaceutical production processes.Knowledge of Lean, Six Sigma, or other process improvement methodologies will be advantageousDemonstrate excellent communication skills, ability to effectively present strategies and solutions with stakeholders/ cross-functional teamsWhat's on OfferThis opportunity offers a dynamic environment where you can continually grow and push your capabilities to greater height.
