About Our Client
Our client is a global leading advisory and solutions company that helps clients around the world turn risk into a path for growth. With roots dating to 1800's and a presence in 140 countries this company has history and great outreach.
To assist the Chief Privacy Office on the implementation of global data privacy standards in Asia & Australasia.
To coordinate and set clear objectives for an Asia & Australasia network of country data privacy officers responsible for the implementation of country privacy requirements.
To chair an Asia & Australasia Privacy Working Group focused on the implementation of data privacy laws in the region.
The Successful Applicant
Qualified attorney in Singapore or other jurisdiction.
Hold a data protection/privacy and/or privacy certification (CIPP, CIPT or CIPM from the IAPP or a similar accredited body) (preferred) or willingness to achieve within a short period of joining.
8 years' experience within a compliance, legal or risk function, with recent fulltime experience in data privacy.
Ability to design and deliver effective and persuasive presentations on complex topics to employees, clients and senior stakeholders
Experience in China Cyber security Law is a significant plus.
Experience leading a privacy function in financial services or related field is a significant plus.
