About Our Client

My client is a one of the leading SGX listed property developers with their Global HQ here in Singapore. With an established portfolio and continuous expansion plans - they are currently on a lookout for a high calibre Head of Consolidation to lead the team.

Job Description

Reporting directly to the Chief Financial Officer, you will be leading a team to oversee the consolidation function from here in Singapore. You will be overseeing the group consolidation of subsidiaries, JVs and associated companies. You will ensure reporting in compliance with IFRS. You will perform assessments on the viability of the subsidiary in view of potential acquisitions/ disposals for the group. You will also be responsible for the SGX announcements.

The Successful Applicant

Ideally, you are CA qualified with a degree in finance and accounting. You have at least 8 years of relevant working experience initially in the Big 4. You are have consolidation experience working in an SGX listed organisation within the property development space. You are familiar with IFRS accounting standards and keep yourself constantly updated on the new requirements. You are an excellent communicator with good business acumen, able to manage stakeholders and influence decision making.
