We are seeking a highly motivated, experienced and strategic individual to join the senior management team to head the Asset and Portfolio Management Department. The Head of Asset Management is responsible for overseeing the performance and strategic direction of the property portfolio.

Job Description

  • Asset Management
  1. Identify, develop and implement asset management strategies through formulation, development and implementation of asset enhancements, leasing initiatives, and other revenue generating opportunities, in order to maximise value and performance of the assets, with due consideration of sustainability
  2. Work closely with the Chief Financial Officer and Property Managers, to formulate annual business plans, capital expenditure plans, and budgets
  3. Coordinate with project consultants on asset enhancement initiatives, ensuring that such AEI plans align with overall strategic objectives
  4. Collaborate with the Property Managers to optimise tenant mix and drive revenue growth
  5. Monitor agreed budgets and provide oversight of portfolio operating expenses
  • Portfolio Strategy
  1. Formulate assets' business plans for short, medium and long-term strategies aligned with corporate objectives with a view to increase the competitiveness of the assets and maximising revenue opportunities
  2. Conduct regular asset evaluations, monitor market trends to develop master planning and revitalisation asset enhancement initiatives
  • Stakeholder Engagement
  1. Serve as the primary liaison with key stakeholders, including investment partners and government authorities
  2. Work closely with Chief Executive Officer & Head of Investor Relations
  • Leadership and Development
  1. Lead and mentor his/her team to foster a culture of excellence and innovation
  2. Facilitate teamwork with members from other departments
  3. Provide on-the-job training and identify training courses to enhance team capabilities

The Successful Applicant

  • Bachelor's degree in Real Estate, Engineering or in the related fields. Preferred with Master of Business Administration
  • At least 10 years of experience in asset management, within commercial real estate sector or REIT
  • Proven track record of successful portfolio asset management and asset enhancement initiatives
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, presentation and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and adapt quickly to evolving needs
