Reporting to the Senior Director, this role will be part of the team that supports the organisation in both its internal and external communications, driving positive media coverage, in addition to promoting and protecting the reputation of the organisation.

Job Description

  • Work with a team of communications professionals to drive positive coverage across a broad range of media, including consumer, business and trade publications and digital, social platforms
  • Manage the creation of internal and external communications materials
  • Organise press briefings, media sessions, and events as required
  • Provide counsel to cross-functional partners within the organisation on media engagement and crisis management
  • Proactively monitor and manage crises and develop crisis management communication plans in collaboration with business units

The Successful Applicant

  • 5-8 years of relevant experience in corporate communications
  • Strengths in relationship and stakeholder management
  • Ability to produce concise, factual, and relevant information in written form
  • Resourceful self-starter possessing organisational and planning skills
