This is a newly created opportunity for a visionary and strategic General Manager to lead our client through its next phase of growth and expansion. In addition to the commercial development, you will also be responsible for overseeing the operations at their facility, ensuring the smooth and efficient production of the TCM and other natural health supplements.

Job Description

  • Strategic Leadership: Develop and execute strategic plans to drive company growth, expand market presence, and enhance profitability.
  • Operations Management: Oversee day-to-day operations including manufacturing, supply chain management, and distribution to ensure efficiency and compliance with regulatory standards.
  • Product Development: Lead product innovation and development initiatives based on market trends, consumer insights, and traditional medicinal knowledge.
  • Sales and Marketing: Collaborate with marketing teams to develop effective strategies for brand promotion, customer acquisition, and market penetration.
  • Financial Management: Manage budgeting, financial forecasting, and P&L responsibilities to achieve revenue targets and profitability goals.
  • Regulatory Compliance: Ensure compliance with local and international regulations governing the production, labeling, and distribution of TCM products.
  • Team Leadership: Provide inspirational leadership to a diverse team of professionals, fostering a culture of collaboration, innovation, and excellence.



The Successful Applicant

  • Bachelor's degree in Life Sciences, Herbal Sciences, MBA or other relevant qualifications
  • Minimum 10 years of progressive leadership experience in the Pharmaceutical or TCM industry, with a strong understanding of manufacturing processes, regulatory requirements, and market dynamics.
  • Proven track record in strategic planning, business development, and operational management within a consumer healthcare or pharmaceutical environment.
  • Exceptional leadership skills with the ability to inspire and motivate cross-functional teams to achieve business objectives.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively engage with stakeholders at all levels.
