About Our Client

Our client is a leader in digital asset security, offering secure storage and management solutions for institutions and individuals entering the world of cryptocurrency. They provide a variety of tools for both safekeeping and interacting with digital assets and are looking for a General Counsel.

Job Description



  • This role reports to the Chief Operating Officer.


  • Advise on cutting-edge business ventures in the fast-paced digital asset space, from marketing and partnerships to product development and international expansion.


  • Draft watertight agreements and craft creative solutions to ensure legal compliance while maximizing business opportunities.


  • Be the champion of responsible growth at the company. Proactively identify and mitigate legal risks across all aspects of the business.


  • Develop bespoke training programs to equip your team and empower informed decision-making.

The Successful Applicant

  • Bachelor's Degree in Law (or a related field)
  • Possess a minimum of 10 years' post qualification experience (PQE) as an in-house lawyer at a multinational corporation (MNC) or a private practice.
  • Experienced in managing multiple complex projects, coupled with strong problem-solving skills, will serve you well in this dynamic environment.
  • Team management experience would be an advantage
  • While experience with blockchain and cryptocurrency is a plus, your passion for the cutting-edge digital asset space is key.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with all levels of the organization will be critical
