Singapore Permanent Work from Home or Hybrid View Job Description
The firm is seeking a Front Office FX Trader to join its Singapore team. This role will be responsible for managing foreign exchange trading activities, executing strategies across G10 and/or EM currencies (as applicable), and contributing directly to the firm's revenue generation and overall financial performance.

Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

· Foreign exchange (primary responsibility for the FX trader):

o Execute foreign exchange spot and swap transactions through electronic platforms

o Manage and optimize the short-term daily cash balances on Asian currencies

o Take proprietary FX positions within the allocated risk limits

o Understand the needs of the clients and propose adequate solutions to meet their request

o Maintain and develop Asian banks relationships

o Monitor on financial regulation changes in Singapore and in the Asian region impacting the FX activity

o Lead FX related projects: analysis, presentation and implementation

o Participate in implementing adequate reports and procedures

The Successful Applicant

· At least 7 years of experience in similar role (FX trader or sales from banks, corporate FX traders with strong FX trading background)

· Strong ability to trade FX on platforms (SmartTrade, 360T, FXALL)

· Very good understanding of Asian countries' FX regulations/constraints (KRW, INR, CNY)

· Analytical and financial skills: financial concepts and applications into models/projects

· Strong knowledge of Excel

· Excellent organizational skills and ability to manage multiple projects
