Job Description

The Fuels Technical Sales Account Manager will be responsible for the growth of Fuels business in Korea. This is a technical and commercial role which involves sales, customer relationship management and developing new fuel additive packages for refineries. The successful candidate should possess strong growth mindset, excellent interpersonal skills, learning agility and project management.

Your primarily responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Develop and implement a successful sales growth strategy and deliver key business objectives
  • Negotiating large tender and contract terms and conditions to meet both client and company needs
  • Developing long-term relationships with clients through managing and interpreting their requirements
  • Manage in-house laboratories to prepare and deliver technical presentations and formulate new products
  • Work effectively across all supply functions to ensure reliable supply to the customer
  • Proactively seek and keep update on competitors, fuel standards, customers and legislation change that impacts the business

The Successful Applicant

  • MSc or BSc in Science, Engineering, or related field (MBA preferred)
  • A minimum of 10 years B2B experience in global Chemical or Oil & Gas MNC
  • Manage and deliver objectives with agility, time-sensitivity and high energy
  • A good balance of experience and aptitude between technical and commercial roles
  • Comfortable working independently and engaging well with the wider organisation
  • Possess a growth mindset to look for new opportunities in different markets and customers
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication and negotiation skills
  • The role is based in Seoul, South Korea with frequent customer visits
