About Our Client
Our client is a market leader with global operations providing sustainable & innovative renewable energy and environmental solutions. They have registered strong growth in recent years with significant presence in APAC and continues to invest in high growth emergine markets in the region. Due to continuing business needs, they are now seeking to recruit a technically strong Financial Controller to be on a secondment program to Indonesia.
The selected candidate will be based in the Singapore headoffice before being seconded to Indonesia to manage the local entity. Reporting to the Regional CFO and local Managing Director, you will manage the full spectrum of financial and management reporting, tax and audit functions and ensure the local compliance to regulations and policies in Indonesia. You will be responsible for the overall cashflow management, tax filing and driving the budget and forecast exercises as well as participate in capital raising work. You will drive continuous improvements in processes and improve the internal controls within the firm.
The Successful Applicant
You should be degree qualified and/or with professional qualifications in CA/CPA. You should have >8 years of working experience with the initial years starting in audit environment. The ideal candidate should be technically strong with high proficiency in Microsoft Office tools and familiar with major ERP system. Strong stakeholder management skills with the ability to influence and drive business decisions. Ability to communicate in multiple languages in SEA is advantageous for this position due to the geographical responsibilities. Prior working experience in Singapore is required to understand the local regulatory requirements.
