This is a Finance Manager position with a market-leading shipping company. As a strategic finance business partner, you will oversee the full spectrum of finance for the Asia portfolio under the group.

About Our Client

My client has a strong global presence and is one of the largest marine logistic carrier in the world. Owners to a large fleet of vessels, the company provides logistic support at major ports around the world. The Finance Manager position will play a critical role to support full spectrum finance activities for Asia, business partner with stakeholders to drive continued growth and increase market share.

Job Description



Reporting to the Financial Controller:

  • Managing a team of 5 headcounts in the finance department, overseeing all aspects of finance
  • Drive regional forecasting and budgeting, ensuring realistic assumptions and timely report submissions
  • Act as the key business partner for Asia portfolio, providing insights and foresight to enhance decision-making
  • Adopt a data driven approach, sharing insights with management team on strategies to improve profitability and achieve business objectives
  • Improve business reporting process, streamline and drive operational excellence



The Successful Applicant

  • Degree in Accounting/Business/Finance with at least 8 years working experience
  • Industry experience in Shipping/Marine will be highly advantageous
  • Independent and technically strong, with high analytical ability to generate meaningful financial insights
  • Strong business partner to leaders, able to work in a matrix organisation
  • Experience managing APAC portfolio, MNC work exposure
  • Knowledge in SAP and business intelligence tools such as Power BI, Tableau
