About Our Client

My client is a prestigious school in Singapore with several campuses across the country. They are currently expanding their Facilities team to support upcoming projects within the campuses.

Job Description

  • Plan and oversee corrective and preventive maintenance for various mechanical and electrical systems, fire protection systems, and building services.
  • Maintain high standards of workmanship by staying updated on best practices and implementing new initiatives like control guidelines, audits, and checklists.
  • Provide operational day-to-day support.
  • Prepare RFQs, evaluate using PQM, recommend for award, and coordinate and execute works and projects.
  • Manage contractors, monitor project timelines, budgets, and resource allocation.
  • Communicate regularly with stakeholders, offering technical guidance and advice.
  • Coordinate with stakeholders and service providers in planning and executing events and activities.
  • Be on 24/7 standby for activation during emergencies.

The Successful Applicant

  • Diploma in mechanical or electrical engineering
  • 5 years+ of experience in facilities management
  • Strong communication skills for liaising with internal and external stakeholders
  • Availability to work on alternate Saturdays
