Our client is one of the division among a large-scale enterprise in the leisure, travel, and tourism industry. Within this division, it's focus is on power generation and oil & gas venture across Asia. The company is actively expanding its energy portfolio, particularly in clean and renewable energy sectors.

Job Description

As part of the finance team, you will gain regional exposure and play a key role in supporting both tax and financial reporting functions for a diverse group of entities. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Supporting direct and indirect tax reporting, including preparation of annual tax computations, GST returns, and statutory filings
  • Assisting with transfer pricing documentation and ensuring compliance with evolving international tax requirements
  • Managing the full set of accounts and producing monthly P&L, balance sheet, and variance analysis reports for semi-active treasury, investment holding, management services, and dormant entities
  • Preparing statutory financial statements and other required reports for audit and regulatory submissions
  • Acting as a liaison with external auditors and tax agents to facilitate smooth year-end audits and annual tax filings
  • Supporting ad-hoc finance and compliance projects as needed, offering you continuous learning and development opportunities

The Successful Applicant

  • Degree in Accounting or a related field, or equivalent qualifications
  • 3 years of experience in taxation and accounting or a related
  • Excellent planning and organizational skills, with the ability to handle multiple tasks and priorities simultaneously
  • Capable of working efficiently under tight deadlines and with minimal supervision
