About Our Client

Client is a CMS licensed asset management firm looking to grow.

Job Description

Key Responsibilities

· Conduct bottom-up research on U.S.-listed technology and AI-related companies, including company profiles, product offerings, financial metrics, and competitive positioning.

· Assist in building and maintaining financial models and earnings trackers to monitor company performance.

· Gather and analyze industry data, valuation benchmarks, and market trends, focusing on key AI segments such as semiconductors, cloud computing, and software platforms.

· Monitor news flow, corporate filings, and analyst reports to identify potential catalysts and risks.

· Prepare research summaries, thematic notes, and presentation materials for internal discussions and investment reviews.

· Support the strategist in idea generation, portfolio monitoring, and performance attribution.

· Maintain organized databases and research archives for efficient retrieval and analysis.

· Engage in desk-level discussions with external data providers, research firms, and brokers when required.

The Successful Applicant

Requirements

· Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Engineering, Computer Science, or related discipline.

· At least 3 years of experience in equity research, investment analysis, or strategy, preferably with exposure to U.S. technology or AI sectors.

· Strong proficiency in financial modelling, data analytics, and valuation techniques.

· Familiarity with industry metrics for tech and AI companies (e.g., ARR, GPU demand trends, cloud growth rates).

· Excellent research and writing skills, with the ability to present findings concisely.

· Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently with minimal supervision.

· Proficient in Excel and PowerPoint; experience with Bloomberg, FactSet, or similar platforms is advantageous.
