Job Description

  • Partner with internal departments to develop tender strategies that ensure both cost efficiency and quality outcomes.
  • Prepare comprehensive tender documents with well-defined scopes and specifications.
  • Draft and finalize contracts that clearly outline deliverables, vendor obligations, and protect the organisation's interests.
  • Evaluate proposals thoroughly and lead negotiations to achieve commercially and contractually favorable terms.
  • Manage tender timelines and oversee post-award activities to ensure supplier performance and compliance.
  • Proactively identify and mitigate risks throughout the contract lifecycle.
  • Build strong partnerships with stakeholders and vendors to drive procurement excellence and satisfaction.
  • Support continuous improvement by enhancing procurement processes and promoting operational efficiency.

The Successful Applicant

  • Degree holder with a minimum of 5 years' experience in procurement and sourcing.
  • Well-versed in strategic sourcing, tender management, and end-to-end contract processes.
  • Strong negotiator with excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
  • Analytical, proactive, and able to perform effectively in a dynamic setting.
  • Experience with digital procurement platforms such as SAP Ariba, Coupa, Oracle, or Zycus is an advantage.
  • CIPS or CPSM certification, or active pursuit of it, will be an added plus.
