Job Description

  • Lead a front‑end-focused engineering team, conducting regular 1:1s, performance reviews, and career development discussions to grow talent and drive high performance.
  • Manage sprint ceremonies end‑to‑end, including planning, standups, retrospectives, and backlog grooming, ensuring smooth and timely delivery.
  • Drive the team's delivery velocity while upholding strong front‑end code quality, best practices, and architectural standards.
  • Run technical reviews, enforce coding guidelines, and implement improvements that elevate the overall engineering craftsmanship.
  • Set and track team OKRs aligned with business goals, and monitor progress through structured check‑ins and performance metrics.
  • Collaborate closely with product, design, and QA teams to deliver polished, user‑centric front‑end experiences across platforms.
  • Identify and remove blockers, coordinate cross‑team dependencies, and ensure on‑time execution of development cycles.
  • Report on team performance, OKR outcomes, and delivery progress to leadership with clear insights and recommendations.
  • Foster a culture of ownership, continuous improvement, and open communication within the engineering team.



The Successful Applicant

Experience & Technical Skills

  • At least 5 years of hands‑on front‑end development experience using modern frameworks (React, Angular, or Vue)
  • Minimum 1 year of experience leading or managing a team of 5+ engineers
  • Strong grasp of software engineering best practices, clean architecture, and UI/UX‑aligned front‑end standards
  • Solid understanding of Agile frameworks, sprint planning, and delivery workflows
  • Experience improving team velocity, code quality, and development consistency through processes and tooling

Leadership & Collaboration

  • Proven ability to mentor, guide, and develop engineers at different skill levels
  • Strong communicator who can work effectively with product, design, QA, and cross‑functional teams
  • Comfortable managing distributed or remote engineering teams
