About Our Client
Our client is ever-growing and expanding and are a leader in their industry. With a rich history of more than 50 years with presence in 60 markets, they are always looking to reinvent and compete with new technologies and innovation to further grow the business. As such, they are looking for a E-Commerce Distribution Manager to aid in their growth.
Reporting to the APAC Logistics Director, this role involves the implementation and execution of e-commerce in their supply chain function.
Additional responsibilities include:
- Project implementations across APAC to further improve their distribution strategies to their customers within APAC.
- Work closely with the various stakeholders to understand the current distribution and warehousing process and improve and implement the e-commerce platform.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with both internal and external stakeholders to successfully deliver.
- Develop e-commerce network strategy for APAC across all business units.
The Successful Applicant
To be successful in the role, you should have more than 8 years of experience in hands-on/operational warehousing and distribution experience within a FMCG industry with APAC experience. You should have developed similar e-commerce strategies. You should be independent and collaborative and have strong communication skills as you will be engaging mostly with senior stakeholders within the business. You should be firm and offer clear directions as various business units will be taking the lead from this role. 20% of travel across APAC is required.
