The Director - Global Product Experience, will shape the future of the firm's product portfolio and own brand innovation. This is a newly created permanent role.Job DescriptionThe Director - Global Product Experience will report to the Vice President for Product Experience ("Regional CMO" equivalent) and operate in a lean, matrix organization of product and R&D staff who ensure global product strategy is turned into action via deployment of frameworks, processes, and embedding product development. This is a hands-on role that requires you to study customer needs and relay the 'voice of customers in the future brand strategies. You will also provide guidance to Franchisees and other brands owned by the group. The measures of success in this role are:Product & Capability development: Deploy world class product development frameworks and processes that embed customer obsession & taste superiority.Concept to consumer: lead the development of products by using consumer insights, across categories and markets.Technology adoption: use latest technologies and food science methodologies to optimize costs and positive influence speed to market.Governance ensure regional R&D hubs are in strict adherence with global frameworks.Stakeholder management: work with the various brands in the group and respective R&D leadersCost optimization: use your expert organizational skills to produce on time and within budget.Peers to this role will be directors for digital marketing, loyalty, analytics etc.The Successful ApplicantMasters or Bachelors' Degree in Food Science, Chemistry, or a relevant discipline.Ten or more years in product or innovation roles in QSR, with at least four years in a highly scaled retail brand.Experience in new product development, with concept to consumer is critical with significant exposure to food SKUs would be highly preferred.Expertise in hiring, training and development global product and development teams.Collaborative nature, ability to partner brand marketing, brand design teams to take products to consumer.Flexibility to travel, up to a quarter of the time.What's on OfferThis is a new role created to enhance and expand our client's global product portfolio.
