Job Description

  • Design and implement global commodity plans that align with business expansion, operational scalability, quality standards, and corporate objectives across all sites.
  • Lead sourcing programs using market insights, risk assessments, and total cost models tailored to the electronics sector.
  • Oversee supplier selection, negotiations, and relationship management with key vendors, contract manufacturers, and distributors to build robust and innovative supply networks.
  • New Product Introduction (NPI): Partner with engineering, operations, finance, and quality teams to align commodity strategies with product roadmaps and emerging technologies.
  • Identify and address supply chain risks, including geopolitical, regulatory, and market volatility, with emphasis on electronics supply disruptions.
  • Drive continuous improvement in procurement processes, supplier performance, and cost reduction through Lean, Six Sigma, and digital tools.
  • Track and analyze commodity market trends, adjusting strategies proactively to seize opportunities and minimize risks.
  • Ensure adherence to corporate policies, ethical sourcing practices, and sustainability initiatives, including conflict minerals compliance.
  • Establish and monitor KPIs to measure success in cost savings, lead-time reduction, risk management, inventory efficiency, and customer satisfaction

The Successful Applicant

  • 10+ years of progressive experience in commodity management, sourcing, or supply chain leadership within electronics manufacturing.
  • Proven ability to develop and execute global commodity strategies and manage complex supplier relationships.
  • Strong negotiation, analytical, and decision-making skills.
  • Experience in risk management, cost modeling, and market analysis.
  • Demonstrated success in leading diverse, high-performing teams.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills across all organizational levels.
  • Proficiency in procurement and analytics tools (SAP, Oracle, Power BI) and familiarity with industry platforms.
  • Knowledge of sustainability practices and conflict minerals compliance
