Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage application deployments and prepare environments across INT, SIT, UAT, and production
  • Develop and optimize CI/CD pipelines to ensure efficient and reliable software delivery
  • Design and implement scalable, secure, and robust infrastructure solutions for the Finance IT platform
  • Conduct post-deployment smoke testing, perform initial issue analysis, and collaborate with development teams on root cause resolution
  • Manage and support SQL-based application configurations, including stored procedures
  • Configure and optimize Apache Spark clusters, including performance tuning and resource utilization analysis
  • Integrate security practices and code quality tools (e.g., SonarQube) into the software development lifecycle
  • Implement and enhance monitoring solutions to ensure system performance, availability, and reliability
  • Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to align DevOps initiatives with business objectives
  • Research and adopt new technologies to improve deployment processes, scalability, and system efficiency
  • Apply Agile and Scrum methodologies to support project delivery
  • Streamline build and release processes in collaboration with development teams
  • Manage source code repositories using tools such as Azure Repos and GitLab
  • Mentor and support junior team members, promoting best practices and knowledge sharing



The Successful Applicant

A successful candidate should have:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or related disciplines
  • At least 3 years of hands-on experience in DevOps, software development, or system operations
  • Proficiency in scripting languages such as PowerShell, Python, Bash, or Perl
  • Experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, Azure DevOps (TFS), GitLab CI, or CircleCI
  • Strong knowledge of Linux/Unix system administration
  • Experience with containerization and orchestration tools (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes, OpenShift)
  • Familiarity with infrastructure-as-code tools such as Terraform, Ansible, or Puppet
  • Good understanding of cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure) and hybrid cloud environments
  • Basic knowledge of distributed systems and microservices architecture
  • Familiarity with network architecture and security protocols (e.g., SSL/TLS, firewalls, VPNs)
  • Exposure to Big Data technologies such as Kafka, Spark, Spark Streaming, and Elasticsearch
  • Strong problem-solving skills with experience handling complex system integration issues
  • Knowledge of financial systems, regulatory reporting, or compliance is an advantage
