We are seeking a dedicated Desktop Support (L1) to join the Technology Department. This position will be responsible for providing technical assistance to the team and ensuring efficient system performance.This is a 1 year agency contract role - renewable.

Job Description

  • Provide technical support (L1 ) to team members facing issues with their desktop systems.
  • Install, configure, and manage software and hardware systems.
  • Perform troubleshooting (L1) to diagnose and resolve problems.
  • Train team members on new technology and software.
  • Monitor system performance to ensure efficient operations.
  • Establish good relationships with team members to improve user experience.
  • Contribute to the maintenance and improvement of IT infrastructure.
  • Maintain accurate records of IT assets to assist in budgeting and planning.

The Successful Applicant

A successful Desktop Support (L1) should have:

  • A degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
  • Atleast 3 years of relevant experience.
  • Strong technical skills including knowledge of software, hardware, and networks.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills to diagnose and resolve technical issues.
  • Good communication skills to interact effectively with team members and provide clear instructions.
  • A customer-focused approach to ensure user satisfaction.
