Job Description

  • Establish and maintain strong relationships with cargo owners, logistics service providers, and government agencies.
  • Initiate and pursue sales leads to generate new business opportunities.
  • Develop pricing strategies for different products, with a focus on both Singapore-centric solutions and regional markets across Southeast Asia.
  • Negotiate proposals and terms with customers to close deals.
  • Identify opportunities to integrate physical solutions with digital initiatives, driving efficiency and innovation.
  • Gather and analyze market data, including updates on trade, market trends, and competitors.
  • Organize events focused on strengthening customer relationships and fostering collaboration.
  • Collaborate with customers to map out processes and identify supply chain challenges or pain points.
  • Work closely with internal operations teams to either redesign existing business processes or create new solutions to address identified challenges.
  • Partner with the legal team to draft, review, and facilitate the signing of contracts with customers.
  • Collaborate with the finance team to implement and manage the commercial terms agreed upon with customers.
  • Serve as the key point of contact between customers and internal teams, ensuring smooth handling of day-to-day requests.
  • Identify and qualify new sales leads, ensuring they align with the company's strategic goals.
  • Schedule meetings with prospects and present company products in a compelling and informative manner.
  • Develop, plan, and deliver effective presentations on company products and services.
  • Maintain a current and accurate record of sales activities and client interactions.
  • Relay customer feedback and product pain points to the relevant internal departments for continuous improvement.
  • Maintain a robust and well-developed pipeline of prospects to drive future sales.
  • Foster strong, ongoing relationships with customers and prospects to ensure long-term success.
  • Meet or exceed established sales quotas and targets.
  • Coordinate with other departments to optimize the sales process and improve customer satisfaction.

The Successful Applicant

  • Degree in any discipline or similar field
  • At least a 4 years of proven sales experience with a strong track record of meeting and exceeding sales quotas across the following sectors (Life Science, Industrial and Retail & Consumer)
  • Proven success in managing and building strong customer relationships with the ability to build rapport with clients and internal teams.
  • Highly self motivated with strong critical thinking and writing skills for problem solving.
  • Ability to adapt quickly to dynamic changes in customer demands and the scope of work, demonstrating resilience in challenging situations.
