As part of its continued global expansion, the organization is now strengthening its executive leadership team. The Deputy CEO will play a pivotal role in accelerating growth and operational excellence across the APAC, EMEA, Americas.

Job Description

The Deputy CEO will be responsible for the overall strategic direction, growth, and profitability of the brand. This senior leadership role requires a seasoned executive with a proven track record in the QSR industry, exceptional leadership skills, and the ability to drive operational excellence and innovation.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Strategic Leadership: Develop and implement a comprehensive plan to drive growth, profitability, and market share.
  • Financial Performance: Oversee financial planning, budgeting, and performance management to achieve revenue and profit goals.
  • Team Leadership: Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing leadership team and workforce.
  • Innovation and Development: Foster a culture of innovation to continuously improve the customer experience, menu offerings, and operational processes.
  • Brand Management: Uphold and enhance the brand reputation and compliance.
  • Market Expansion: Identify and evaluate opportunities for market expansion, including new locations and potential acquisitions.
  • Operational Excellence: Ensure operational efficiency, consistency, and excellence across all QSR locations.
  • Customer Focus: Maintain a customer-centric approach to ensure exceptional service and satisfaction.

The Successful Applicant

Qualifications:

  • MBA or Master's Degree in Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Fifteen or more years in B2C retail, with at least four years in a CXO role at regional or global level.
  • QSR experience is a must for this role.
  • Proven track record of driving growth and profitability in own-store, franchise, and JV models.
  • Strong financial acumen and experience managing a P&L exceeding $2B USD.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Experience with market expansion and new location development.
  • Extensive travel is needed in this role, across Asia, Europe, and Middle East regions. We estimate 50-75% travel.

What's on Offer

This is a newly created CXO role, as our client is keen to advance their global direct and franchise store presence in the next 36 months. You will play a pivotal role in hiring and developing talent across US, EMEA and APAC. The fixed compensation for this role will be competitive. Candidates who have a mix of P&L and Development, Franchising or Marketing experience and have worked for large QSR brands will find this an excellent fit.
