About Our Client

Our client is a globally renowned professional body with deep involvement in ESG. They are looking for a seasoned department head with focus on climate risk/change.

Job Description

Reporting to Managing Director, you will be leading a team of 2-3. Acting as the regional centre of excellence and think-tank across Asia, this role will be advocating and delivering knowledge/solutions to stakeholders on climate risk-related initiatives. You need to be a good story-teller who will be passionate about climate change and be the key spokesperson as an external voice to talk about latest market trends, short-term/medium-term impact of climate changes on businesses so as to make the community be aware of the issues and put stronger emphasis.

The Successful Applicant

The successful candidate should be the subject matter expert on climate challenge - ideally with academic studies in environmental science/engineering or geography. Outgoing personality and strong networking skills are needed given the nature of the role and you should be able to articulate the relatively scientific content in a simple business format.
