In line with their growth plans, they have recently hired a new General Manager for SEA and are now looking to hire a Country Manager, Singapore & Malaysia from an enterprise software background.Job DescriptionReporting to the General Manager, SEA, the Country Manager is responsible for overseeing business operations, driving sales, and managing the company's strategic direction within the two countries. This role is vital in expanding the company's market presence and building relationships with key clients and partners in the region. We are seeking a strategic leader who can drive revenue growth, foster strong client relationships, and expand the company's footprint. You will manage cross-functional teams and collaborate closely with regional leadership to align business goals and ensure the successful execution of the company's strategies in both countries.The success of this role will be measured on:Strategic Leadership: Ability to develop and implement business strategies for growth.Sales Acumen: Expertise in leading sales teams and achieving revenue targets in the enterprise software sector. You will be accountable for achievement of revenue and profitability targets for Singapore and Malaysia.Market Knowledge: In-depth understanding of the software market in Singapore and Malaysia, including customer needs and competitive dynamics.Team Management: Strong ability to lead, mentor, and develop high-performance teams.Partnership Development: Experience in managing and building relationships with partners, resellers, and technology alliances.Financial Acumen: Experience in managing budgets, forecasting, and financial performance.Customer Success and Satisfaction: Oversee customer success initiatives, ensuring that clients derive maximum value from the company's products.Reporting and Analysis: Analyse sales and market data to make informed decisions and recommendations.The Successful ApplicantBachelor's degree in business, IT, or a related field.Eight or more years in a leadership role, with a focus on enterprise software sales, business development, or country management.Strong knowledge of the enterprise software market, including cloud, SaaS, and on-premise solutions.Proven track record of driving sales and growing business in Southeast Asia, preferably in Singapore and Malaysia.Experience in managing cross-functional teams and collaborating with global stakeholders.Excellent leadership, communication, and negotiation skills.Strong understanding of local market dynamics, business practices, and legal regulations in Singapore and Malaysia.What's on OfferOur client offers you an opportunity to be in an innovative environment, with autonomy to lead two key markets.
