About Our Client

Our client, a global leader in security solutions, sells to enterprise clients including financial services, public sector and telecommunications. They pride themselves in being agile, having the ability to innovate and clear market leaders in ASEAN. The firm has grown multiple fold in ASEAN in the last few years and we are looking for a market leader who can take the domestic business to 2x of their current run rate.

In line with their growth plans for the Philippines business, they are looking to hire a Country Manager, Philippines from an enterprise software background.

Job Description

Reporting to the Vice President, ASEAN, the Country Manager is responsible for overseeing business operations, driving sales, and managing the company's strategic direction in the country. This role is vital in expanding the company's market presence and building relationships with key clients and partners in-market. You need to drive revenue growth, foster strong client relationships, and expand the company's footprint. You will manage a team of seasoned account executives collaborate closely with regional leadership to align business goals and ensure the successful execution of the company's strategy in Philippines.

The success of this role will be measured on:

  • Strategic Leadership: Ability to develop and implement business strategies for growth.
  • Sales Acumen: Expertise in leading sales teams and achieving revenue targets in the enterprise software sector. You will be accountable for achievement of revenue and profitability targets for Philippines.
  • Market Knowledge: In-depth understanding of the software market in Philippines, including customer needs and competitive dynamics.
  • Team Management: Strong ability to lead, mentor, and develop high-performance teams.
  • Partnership Development: Experience in managing and building relationships with partners, resellers, and technology alliances.
  • Financial Acumen: Experience in managing budgets, forecasting, and financial performance.
  • Customer Success and Satisfaction: Oversee customer success initiatives, ensuring that clients derive maximum value from the company's products.
  • Reporting and Analysis: Analyse sales and market data to make informed decisions and recommendations.

The Successful Applicant

  • Bachelor's degree in business, engineering, or a related field.
  • Five or more years in a leadership role, with a focus on enterprise software sales, business development, or country management.
  • Strong knowledge of the enterprise software market, including security, cloud, SaaS, and on-premise solutions.
  • Proven track record of driving sales and growing business in Philippines.
  • Experience in collaborating with regional and global stakeholders.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and negotiation skills.
  • Strong understanding of local market dynamics, business practices, and legal regulations in Philippines.
